WebWork AI: the technology behind our products

"WebWork AI" names two things. It is our company — WebWork AI, Inc., the Delaware corporation behind WebWork Time Tracker, FortWatch, TopReviewed, and Superbrain. And it is the AI technology we develop in-house that runs through every one of those products. This post is about the second meaning, because it is the one that is easiest to mistake for a marketing word and the one we care most about getting right.

What is WebWork AI, the technology?

It is the shared intelligence layer we build ourselves and apply wherever it removes real friction from real work. We do not treat AI as a feature to advertise; we treat it as a way to take the tedious, judgment-heavy parts of a workflow — triaging, summarising, prioritising, answering — and do them well enough that a person only has to review, not grind. The same philosophy, the same in-house technology, tuned separately for each product's problem. When you see "WebWork AI" inside one of our products, that is what you are looking at.

Where does it show up?

In WebWork Time Tracker, it is the AI-powered time tracking and the WebWork AI assistant — capturing work automatically, turning activity into insight, and answering questions about the workweek that used to require a report. In FortWatch, it is the ranking engine that weighs every security finding by real-world exploitability and context, so a team fixes what matters instead of re-sorting alerts. In TopReviewed, it is the six-seat expert panel, cross-checked across leading frontier models, that reviews AI software from every professional angle at once. And in Superbrain, arriving in 2026, it is what will let a team ask its own knowledge a question in plain language and get the actual answer back, with sources.

Why build it in-house?

Because the value is in the tuning, not the buzzword. Anyone can bolt a model onto a product and print "AI-powered" on the landing page; the difference between decoration and a tool is how precisely the intelligence fits the problem — what it measures, what it ignores, and where it hands control back to a person. Owning the technology means we decide those things deliberately for each product, hold all of them to the same bar, and improve them together: what we learn about prioritisation in security sharpens how we rank insights in time tracking, and the answering we build for Superbrain feeds back into the assistant in WebWork. A shared layer, compounding.

That is the honest version of "AI-first" as we practise it — one technology, developed in-house, powering focused products that each do one thing well. The name on the company and the name in the products is the same on purpose.
